It is amazing how many people are praying for us: the question is, to what purpose?

1. We are urged in Scripture to “pray constantly”, and to pray for one another, and so express our desires.

2. Prayer is a two way process: we listen to God as much as we speak to Him. So in prayer we align ourselves with God’s will.

3. Prayer is not so much about bending God’s will to ours, as understanding better His deeper purpose in the situation.

So both I and Janet are deeply privileged that anyone should be praying for us, and it leads us more to pray too.
